Participation in food stalls
Namami Brahmaputra is a five day mega event organized by the Government of Assam from 31st March to 4th April, 2017 to highlight the indigenous culture, age old traditions, customs and ways of life of the local people, whose lifeline has been the mighty Brahmaputra. This event is a collective tribute to the river and is an endeavor to bring Assam into national and international limelight and thus transform the state into a global trade, tourism and investment destination. Assam boasts of healthy and exquisite cuisine, which is light and palatable and Namami Brahmaputra consists of a zone dedicated exclusively to exhibit the authentic cuisine of the state. Participation in handloom and handicraft stalls
Handloom and handicraft of Assam plays an indispensable role in the economy of the state. This aspect shall be aesthetically showcased in the five day mega event ‘Namami Brahmaputra’.
